June 22, 200618 yr Hi Karen Joined this site just to reply, all the way from Scotland. My son and I breed and show a few lacewings. You will know by now that the results of your pairing should be all lutinos (or possibly an albino if both parents are split for blue,) all the hens are pure lutino and all the cocks are spilt for lacewing, this means that if you pair any the cocks to a normal budgerigar 50 % of the hens they produce should be lacewings. If you want lacewings fast, when the young cocks are about 9 months of age pair one to its mother, that will give a high % of lacewings, both cocks and hens. Hope this helps Bliss3bliss 22/6/06 Hi again Karen I have now found out how to view the other posts and saw your latest photos, all lutino young!! Good to see the youngsters coming on, hope they all reach the perches safely, bliss3bliss. Edited June 23, 200618 yr by daz
