April 22, 200619 yr Author Where's Merkin.... Top Picture Bea he is back left with Greeny (Mum). Kurby this isn't the nursary. This is the breeding cage less the nest box. Poka and Axel are 38 and 36 days old. They will be going on Tuesday. The others will join them through the week. Mum will stay in the box alone for another week after that to recover. She has been in the breeding cage for 133 days. Mostly taking care of chicks. It is her time to get her strength back before going back to the flight. for the rest of the year.
May 14, 200619 yr Author Just an update Three of the chicks are gone one to Nerwen (poka), One to Karen (Biff) and I sold one to a family that saw the photos on my web site (Axel). Abu and Merkin have now joined the flock in the Flight. Merkin Abu and Merkin They still love their vegetables
