Is it possible that a baby could get dad's couloring but mum's recessive-pied gene?

Yes it is possible, if he is split for the pied gene. There isn't a way to tell that just looking at the bird though so it's pot luck.

 

If he isn't split for blue then all the babies will be green. The females of this pairing will be opaline.
