Is this normal for the area immediately above their vent to be swollen (not dirty). She has been in her box most of the last two days and only comes out occasionally. She has been making big poos. Just looks like she is swollen (like there is an egg there) is this normal?

yes it is normal for the hen to swell up around the vent area
