Lovey, I think your next budgie should be a spangle I thought I'd share some pics of some of my 18 budgies. Cheeta, you have beautiful budgies. Can't wait to see the rest. I love your spangles of course. I said that I wasn't going to buy any more budgies until I could find a yellowface spangle. They are my absolute favourite. But then I stumbled upon a little Creamino last Saturday who is also precious. I have reserved him and will pick him up on Friday. Is Yue Liang a Creamino?? Keep the pics coming. April 4, 200619 yr Author Thanks all.. Shawna, Congrats ont he reservation of your new baby. Yes, Yue Liang is a creamino indeed.. She's really cheeky too. she will have a little peck at my fingers if I have food in my palm.. As you can see, I have both creamino and yellowface spangle.

I've have searched high and low for a spangle around here. Not one to be found anywhere . Someday I'm sure I'll find one, or perhaps with some luck will breed my own if any of my 8 have a hidden spangle gene. Thanks for sharing your pics of your gorgeous birds.
April 4, 200619 yr Your right I do think my next one needs to be a spangle, I love them. They have some in the pet store, green ones...so tempting. I need a bigger cage first. Shawna, the Spangle gene is dominant so the gene is not hidden.

Well good luck in your search for your spangle in waiting.
April 5, 200619 yr so sweet love the colours my last lot of spangles not the one's I have now went to the retail out lets for $9.00 each sold out in a day but the one's I have now are for breeding but I just love the pics more please
April 5, 200619 yr When you say retail...is it a pet shop...or like a warehouse full of budgies? Ive heard several people say that 'retail'.... Yea, NO spangles in Canada! I got mine from a breeder who has only a green spangle male whos being bred to a olive green normal hen (those are Tangos parents ) then he has another blue spangle hen whos breeding to a normal skyblue male...who im going to get Tango a boyfreind from...a male blue from that spangle clutch I figure, i may as well get them while i can, since this is only time/place ive seen spangles in Canada!....
