The last few weeks I have noticed that his cere has changed. The second photo shows how Joey beak has changed. Can anyone give me any advice, is this scaly mite?
April 2, 200619 yr looks like it. The beak is all flacky looking too where as before it was smooth. A trip to the vet is in order to be sure it is the mite and for the treatment. Edited April 2, 200619 yr by Nerwen
April 2, 200619 yr :ausb: I agree, had one budgie with it and his cere looked somewhat like that and his feet were really involved, poor fellow. :bluebudgie:
April 2, 200619 yr yep it looks like it. As nerwen said get him to an aviarian vet and while you are wiating give his cere and feet and legs a wipe with some baby oil. The mites hate it and it won't hurt him. :bluebudgie:
