April 23, 200619 yr IM SOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!! How are you going to fix all the perches? Do what Bea did...with screws, and make a sturdy 'holder' for them?... or... Hmmm so THATS what Bea does to get good photos of the aviary birds... Screw them little feeties down, but ummm i've yet to see the Budgie holder in use Great looking aviary Nerwen i'm feeling inspired to go and do something in mine now actually i just went out before and bought some screen thingys made outta sticks and stuff to stick in there when the rain goes away
April 23, 200619 yr Author That cuppa might be getting closer Daz Gettting extra food and water cups tomorrow morning then adding the birds :hap: Yes I remembered to fix the wire. I'm wanting to add some wood like a swing later and I had an idea to put a fly screen (the one that is in strips) infront of the door to keep the bird away from that spot as I go in an out. I will have photos of them all tommorrow for you. Yes I keeping Echo and Reepicheep....... and Berry and Squeaker.... It seems the rest of my family are not birdie folks. Oh well. So what do you think of it? Edit to add: I did change one thing after I took the photos and that was the thing the three hoops was hanging off I changed it to another branch which gave yet another small spot to sit on, and play with the toy. You should build a feeding 'table' .... Like a platform out of wood, and put the food/water on it, instead of using small, petstore food cups that are to pricy.. Kirby

April 24, 200619 yr In my aviaries I use the 'dog feeders'. You know, the ones where the food automatically feeds itself through to the dish. Makes sure they always have food, and they don't get blocked with seed husks etc
