Well today is the day that "Tweeter was introduced to the rest of the flock. Well atleast the other 4 that were out of quarentine. It was very funny to watch them play together and it seemed that he knew that they were the ones he was talking to all this time. Her are some pics:

We are thinking of changing Tweeter's name to either Kiwi, Mango, Willow, or Shadow (because he aks like Houdini's shadow!!) What do you think??

YAYAYA!!!...i agree! Tweeter should become Tango or Kiwi...and Twitter should become Daisy! For the no name girl, how about Stella, Annie, Star, Tulip, or Claire????

Misty your birds are so beautiful! Do you get them direct from breeders or pet shops??? I love them all, (Laughing out loud) at the photo of them standing in a circle!!! :hap: :(Laughing out loud):

odd name but when I looked at them this time Pearl came to mind I was looking at "Tweeter" at the time.

Well we have decided on two names:

Franklin, named after the county I was born in, Franklin Ohio. And because my mom says he looks like frankenstien. He is already being called Frankie for short!!

 

AND.....

I had a few requests fro this name, so I decided to use it but put a little twist on the spelling. She looks like a sweet little daisy and her sweet but spunky personality fits the name.

 

We still have not decided on a name for the little female but the name is coming soon. The newest possibilities are Marshmellow, Bubbles, or Cirrus.

I like the twist on daisy :hap: (although I did think DAZ-EE) when I first read it

 

What about another flower name -Violet Iris ??

Yes, nice name choices!..as i named Daisy...but with differnt speling :grbud:

And to answer your question Riebie, they all have come from the same petshop. I don't know of any breeder around here. I am usually there for about an hour just watching and looking. So far I have been pretty lucky with the ones that I have brought home.

This is Melissa's mom and she is quite upset at the moment because the little budgie that we just got, Blossom, didn't make it. I told her from now on we are not getting a bird the night that they come in to the pet store. I think thats alot of stress on the bird and the pet store workers don't have time to see if the birds are healthy. Its been a little it of bad luck and Melissa is pretty upset. She is afraid that all of you will be upset with her but trust me she loves her flock and every new edition with all of her heart, so please don't be upset with her and give her some encouragement.

NO ONE WILL BE UPSET AT HER! WE ALL KNOW SHES LOVES HER FLOCK SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH, AND SHE WOULD NEVER DO ANYTHING TO HURT THEM! My names is Kirby, and i am one of her best fans...i give her lots of good names to call the birds, and were always helping everyone out! So, no, we would never be mad at her, and please tell her im DEEPLY sorry to hear that, and i hope she feels better soon! I LOVE the name Blossom by the way! Great pick! I just hope to god that the next new flock member stays alive for a loooong time!!! And we all know, Blossom and Petrie are sitting on a cloud up in heaven, cherishing every moment your daughter had with them!

 

ps-Melissa, you did the best thing you could do to such a beautiful bird...you gave her love, and the short time you had with her made her passing a soft, painless death! Im sure shes greatful Misty!
