Posted March 27, 200619 yr She is very sweet despite the awful attack on her by Star yesterday, in fact she has starting stepping up and readily goes back in her cage, awesome potential. At first she scared me with the sounds she makes, very different from other budgies but I now find them quite interesting. Coca didn't like her photoshoot at all and took off, looks like she has bluish undertones in the pics but all I see is grey and white, she is very pretty. Please take that camera out of my face. Mango the lovebird is over visiting the Phoebs so I shall climb up his cage. NO more PICTURES!! Let's go back home, thanks for your assistance, oh new owner. And good budgie that I am, will go voluntarily into my cage, nice to meet you all. And I don't know why this picture didn't come through, troubles posting pics again, I lost them the first time!
March 27, 200619 yr Cutie! A dilute of some sort??? Hard to tell the colour. Looks almost white on my monitor. Glad she is settling in well for you.
March 28, 200619 yr She totally looks white and grey in person, I don't know why the blue is coming through in the pics, just glad she is happy and coming to me, apparently the former owner didn't have much luck with her as she was scared of her but I don't know why, she isn't a biter. And the budgie picture police will be after me, I DID resize and check all of them (sometimes twice and checked their properties) but they turned up BIG here!, sorry what did I do wrong again, Edited March 27, 200619 yr by Phoebe
March 28, 200619 yr They are all fine in size don't panic She is a cutie glad you have her to show her that she is a perfectly normal lass. Wha noise does she make?
March 28, 200619 yr She kind of makes noises like a some sort of an engine or maybe a hair dryer or blender, it is very weird. But she is one happy camper, that's for sure!
March 28, 200619 yr Yes she is Lovey and she seems quite comfortable with me. However, I did goof up big time today as I had to take Monty, Happy and Jodie for toenail clips at the vet, I can do the wing clips but not the nails. Having bought a stand with shepherd castors on it to rearrange the cages, I haven't moved it into position yet as I can't vacuum due to my fractured ribs. Stupid me put Coco right in the line of fire of the alarm detector!!! Thank goodness my landlord was in the near vicinity and had his cell turned on, otherwise I would have had to pay 50 bucks for a false alarm, I never even considered the stand being in the way.
