I never mark my egg's, i have no need to, If the egg doesnt hatch, It doesnt hatch simple as that. i wouldnt risk putting anything on the surface of the egg as you never know 100% that it's safe for the embryo. if you candle them you should be able to tell which one is layed first cause it will show less see through and be more darker inside the egg.

Unless like kaz said, you have foster egg's, then yes but in general breeding their's absolute 0 point in marking them
