Hey guys!

 

I got one of my new budgies today! A green spangle, 6 weeks old he/she! I think it is a male as his cere is VERY pino, with some blue, but then he has a white patch on his cere aswell! Here is a link to my photobucket acount of him...ENJOY!

Hard to tell at that age. I would guess male, but I'm basing that on the shape of the cere and the shape of the head because in some pictures the cere looks pink all over, in others I can't tell if it is lighter due to the flash or not. Good pictures.

I am going to say girl because it could be the "Flash" but I think the i see her nassel rings....

I thought the pics were bad! ...(Laughing out loud). AWWWWW.....he just chirped for frist time! So peaceful and sweet! Was more of a sing than a squak, so once again, its pointing to be a male indeed!..YAY!

The best cere shots are the 1st, 3rd and 3rd last with him in the cage, with a cage bar running horizontaly in the middle of the lens. Those 3 pics are the best cere ones....Whos agrees with me that hes a male?

So...Tango has been with me for about 4 days now i think...and i thought he was a boy!

 

Until he bit me! OH MY GOSH!!!...it hurt more than any males ive felt before! It hurt more than half the bites ive gotten from females! He is also not singing, but rather only 'calls' to my other guys! Hes very outgoing, and im suprised that he isnt singing, since hes soo happy playing with me! So, does this mean hes a she? The cere is still pink and blue, but has white rings around the nostrils....PLEASE HELPP!!!!!

The cere is VERY BLUE now...hardly any pink, it depends on how/when/where you look at it from....He BITES very hard this morning trying to come out and play out of his cage, hes been chewing the bars of the cage, and the perches, and has been running around on the floor of the cage...Im going to go try and take pics....
