Posted March 20, 200619 yr okay well my 2 females have been in the nest boxses for 3days and have only come out to eat how loing will it take them to lay???
March 20, 200619 yr nope but the males alweays hang around and talk to them etc and rederjetate food onto the nest boxses and the fem,ales hate when i am near the nest boxses
March 20, 200619 yr they may not have "done" it yet. last year, sylvester & tweety laid eggs 1 month after all the others. he would do everything he could to win her over, but she wasnt having any of it! give it some time, (Laughing out loud)

March 20, 200619 yr Sorry Harry but you should see the first egg between 9 to 15 days. It can take longer for some pairs. If you don't seean egg in 21 days I would take the nest box away for a week and than reintroduce it.
