There is some amazing information in this book. Very helpful things told in such great detail and with full photographic representation. I am truly blown away by the content....how exactly to repair damaged eggs to prevent egg loss, quality homemade formulas to raise chicks on, recomendations for commercial hand rearing formulas, if you have to assist a newborn to hatch...the exact way to help and not to help to save fatalities. Baby chicks weight records, extensive egg knowledge and help, and much much more. The lady we got our scarlets from has been handrearing all kinds of birds for years and has an excellent knowledge base and gave me this book. It is truly a must on everyone's bookshelf.

Yes I agree with budgiebird, it is an excellent book! I handrear everything from King Parrots down to budgies and could never have done it without this book! I think every bird lover should have a copy. It has everything you could ever need to know in it with great photos. Certainly worth every cent!
