all you guyes birds breed and have babies mine do everything mate have all the conditions correct but not once has the female been in the box but i have only seen them breed once

Sorry If i'm wrong but these are the ones that have had a next box offered to them for a year? If so I think the best thing to do is remove the box or a week to two weeks, keep the birds together to keept he bond strong then re offer them the box. The hen might then take more interest in it as a nesting site.

 

 

If this isn't so then, how old are the birds. How long have they been in the cage with the box? What food are you offering them?

 

Question that cames to mind: how is the box set up? The first time I did it I had the box one way and the hen chewed and chewed and chewed the other side of the box from the hole as if she was trying to make her own. I moved it 90 degrees and she started to look at the hole and enter the box.

Try putting another hen in with them,it will add competition.
