Posted March 15, 200619 yr HI everyone. Neo is nearly 10 months old and I am concerned that he is getting bored. We are not interested in breeding but would like to get him a friend. Should we get a male or a female. How old should it be? His cage is quite large W77cm H90cm D45cm so there is plenty of room for another one.
March 15, 200619 yr I've just got a buddy for Blinks so really we're in the same situation. If you don't want to breed i'd get a male which is about 6-8 weeks old. That way it should be super easy to tame during quarantine.
March 16, 200619 yr Is say a beaituful baby female!.... They would still pair up naturaly instead of gay ones, (Laughing out loud), and if you wanted to later, you could supply a nest box!.....And i know deep down you want babies! Kirby
March 16, 200619 yr :dbb1: It's not best to pug breeding even if your loving the idea of breeding yours. Have a male and female can add to worry of breeding and nesting in strange area if not suplying a box, and then egg bound hens. Althought there are plenty that get along fine with out any breeding hassles. If you don't want the consurns then get another male (if you can trust your self to pick one out when young)
March 16, 200619 yr Ahhhh...i guess your right! Might as well get anither baby male....(Laughing out loud). Kirby
