Current status in the aviary. Skye and Bubblegum ( dom pieds ) raising one baby (pin feathers so far no colour as yet), .....Spook and Casper ( grey opaline and yellow face blue type 2) raising three babies.....one albino, one yellow and ? maybe opaline too....and one looks grey like the mother,.... Eight babies fledged over the past week.....Bonnie and Clyde ( cobalt blues )'s five and three of Romeo and Juliets ( recessive pieds ). Trying hard to work out the sex of them but 4 are recessive pieds, one a violet opaline female and three are blues and look the same. Romeo and Juliet are starting again and have two eggs. Hotlips

( cinnamon wing cobalt ) and Radar (grey green normal) have three babies hatched out and a couple more eggs which may be a no result. All the rest flying cartwheels around their new aviary space....I dont think they'll be getting fat in a hurry Quails have laid 13 eggs.

*blows party whistle* sounds like its all go in the aviary and the quote was too funny :(Laughing out loud): Apple has got it right though, when he see's himself in the mirror he blows kisses and say's "Hey Cutie" :hap:

Another baby born today to Hotlips and Radar, making four pinkies in there. One more possible egg to hatch and one other is a dud I think.

Well I'm not drinking the water either then. My 28 yr old daughter informs me she is trying for a baby and that she doesnt't want a brother or sister from me at my age of 50 either ......so here I sit with my coffee taking in the sounds of chirping budgies....very nice PS another two babies born in Budgie Hilton to Hotlips and Radar over the past 3 days (makes 5 to them )

Just make sure your daughter visits often and drinks PLENTY of water (non filtered)

I am so envious of you with all your little new baby budgies Cant wait for pictures...

Will have to send the water to Melbourne. She got a big promotion and lives and works there. Regional manager for Strandbags. But is coming home to live again in May we hope. We have 9 baby budgies coming on and Romeo and Juliet are laying again. All the birds in the big aviary haven't nesting boxes as yet. I thought it best that they have fun flying around for awhile before I let them pair up again.
