What Colour Am I?

I recently introduced you all to daffodil and puddin. Puddin has some amazing blues colours on her back.

The top is almost violet and then near her tail she is skyblue colour.

This isn't the greatest picture but I hope it captures it somewhat. I'm trying to get one without a flash but no luck so far. And she is too wild to gake out of the cage.

What colour would she be? Cobalt?

And is she an opaline pied? The wing markings remind me somewhat of pied markings? Or is that just because she is opaline.

if she was a pied she would have a pied mark on the back of her head I believe, I would say Cobalt Opaline (still learning on violets)

And Daffodil would be a opaline clearflight pied but is not dominant because she doesn't have the band of clear colour across the belly??? She does have a small spot on her head. I'm basing that on info at Budgie/Parakeet Mutations (scroll way down).

So does that mean there are three types of pieds - pied, dominant pied, and recessive pied?

There are two different dominat pieds, the one most talk about is the australian banded pied (what we all call dominant pied here) and Dutch Pied, which is called clearflight on that site.

So your right there is three types of pieds.

Thanks. That helps A LOT!

And is Daffodil is a dark green (one dark factor)?
