Hay everyone!

 

I finally have some pics of my Buddy! I hope I am doing this right...!

 

Regrettfully my nose is also in one of the pics....keep in mind it looks MUCH bigger than it really is....(Laughing out loud).

 

Here's Buddy....and for those of you who read my introduction in the other section I will tell you what I think... I THINK Buddy is a girl, he/she has a light blue cere with white rings around the nares. He/She is (I think) a blue opaline. In the pics Buddy looks sky blue however he/she is more cobalt blue in the flesh. I think Buddy may have been born last April which makes her almost a year old as she has an iris ring she developed last fall.

 

I read that most opalines are female which means I may have to change the spelling to Buddie! (Laughing out loud)

 

If anyone can correct me in the above or confirm what I THINK I know about my little one I would surely be grateful!

I was thinking she was....but she wouldn't answer....keeping it a secret she was.

 

She bobs alot though isn't that male behaviour? Then again she also clucks when I rub her head (she has started letting me do that!).

 

So I guess I have to change the spelling to Buddie! (Laughing out loud)

Oh my, she is just adorable, and how proud in that second picture! Budgies do things just to confuse us poor humans, which will be why her behaviour made it difficult to sex her

 

I think, and I'm not good about pictures myself, that your pictures are a fine size.

I've posted a few questions for all of you who can help me out now that Buddie is a girl...(Laughing out loud).

Buddie is sitting on my keyboard as I type and she says thank you so much for the compliments....
