Can anybody help me out?

I imagine Jimmi( the green girl) is fairly straightforward, I just don't know the difference between different types of green etc.

But I just don't know about custard - I believe she's a yellowface something or other ( that's as much as I've been told).

birdies001.jpg (I've used this picture elsewhere, but it shows Custard's back well. can you see her purpley-blue band on her neck? it never comes up in pictures well )

Here she is again in the background, so you can see the colour on her front more

In some lights, she's a much brighter, turquoisier blue than at other times..

It's probably really simple, but I just don't know about all this stuff.

p.s. for anybody who hasn't seen my other post about Custard, don't worry, I know she has scaley face. It's being dealt with.

Jimmy looks like a Classic Green

Custard is an Type 1 Yellow Face Opaline (according to my screen I don't see any yellow throughout his chest)

Yes Jimmi is strightforward she is a green normal.

Custard is a opaline yellowface, and I think type 1.

What does type 1 mean?

Also, Lovey, you said 'his'. Was that just a typo or is she a he?

Type 1 means that the yellow does not bleed into his chest area, it is just on his face, and tail area.

Yes it was a mistake, I tend to do the he thing when I type without thinking. Sorry about that.

Thanks for all the help. Now I can pretend I know what I'm talking about if somebody asks me about my birds!

:(Laughing out loud): I know what you mean, I felt that way when I first started posting here too but I have learned alot in 6 months. Hmmm maybe too much :P
