is it cheaper to get pet insurance for a budgie or take it to the vet?

 

if pet insurance is cheaper, who is it best to go for?

em i dont no of any one who insures small birds like budgies. unless there is something seriosly rong it prob be cheaper to just take em to your vet. i no when i was looking for my horse insurace the only pets they insured wer cats and dogs. is there some sort of bird society coz they might insure? soz cant be more helpful.

i went into my local vets to ask if there was pet insurance for budgies and they laughed their socks off.

in one of my mags there is a company who insure birds but i think it is for a number of aviary birds i think not one i will hunt out their e-mail address as they do a free info pack

i donno how many people would insure a budgie anyway... although with my luck, depending on the cost...

 

im pretty sure my vet would laugh at me too! most articles and such on bird insurance i have read only insure if its a certain cost - i think the good one i read was 500 and up? not sure... its been a while.
