If I bred a female opaline green with a male normal green? I don't understand how to figure it out...any help would be appreciated!

You will get 100% normal greens, and the males will be split for opaline.

I don't understand...I will get normal greens but some will be half opaline?

they will be visually green but they will carry the opaline gene (the males) because they carry two xx chromosones - so the opaline will be a hidden gene. To get any female opalines the father would need to be an opaline, because opaline is a sex linked gene.
