When i got Oswald and the lady caught him for me she showed him to me for me to check and she said " I won't let him go cause he hasn't got his wings clipped or taped".....what is wing taping? It sounds like they just tape the wings down but that seems like a really dumb idea.

I think they sometimes put tape on flight feathers (holding a few together) to stop flight, just like with clipping
