March 8, 200619 yr Author I go with type 2 for Napoleon. If you look at the first picture, the feathers over the tail are green. The only way to get green on a blue bird is type 2. Very interesting thread! Yeah agreed, I think he's a type 2. When I take a look at him in reality he's very splotchied full of yellow. His cheek patches are strange too, one has bright yellow and the other isn't. It looks very abnormal. I'll try and take a picture of it. My little yellow splotchie budgie! March 8, 200619 yr Ahh that helps in al the pictures it doesn't look as if there is a bleed of yellow, well now i can see the green on the tail that raibow is talking of The out come is the same, since both the type 1 and type2 genes act the same.
