The hen has yet to breed but she is from pure Lutino stock.

Big Gray has one successful nesting of 2 yellow faced grays, 2 greens & 1 blue/green (from yellow lacewing hen).

 

I have high hopes I'm hoping for some larger lutino's & another gray white or yellow face I don't mind.

What is your opinions on future babies?

 

 

Both of them make a beautiful pair. Did Big Grey produce large youngsters in his last clutch? He looks like a good-sized budgie.

Yes, his off-spring were about 30% larger than the average pet budgie but still smaller than the show sized budgies.

 

He isn't show sized himself - but almost.

He has super duper long tail feathers too - the longest out of any budgie I've ever had.
