I just got a new cage for the boys so, now everyone seems much happier. Her are some pics of the layouts:

Petrie is much happier now that she is back by herself.

This is currently Jake and Elwoods cage. How many do you think this one could house??

and finally, we have our cage that is in the lunch area of the house that is the home to Ceaser and Houdini.

What do you think??

Id say put Petrie back with Ceaser in the green bottom white cage in lunch room, then all three boys in other white cage. Its fine for 3 baby male budgies, and if fighting occurs, move them around again. I do not think it is right to seperate Petrie from Ceaser when they have bonded as freinds for a long time before you got the new guys!...(Laughing out loud)

The thing is, when Petrie and Ceaser are in the same cage they fight constantly. No matter how many toys are in their cage, they want the same ones, at the same time. If the toys are not a problem them it is something else, maybe the same spot to sit in or something. I thought this would be a good way for them to still see each other for a couple of hours a day and then have their separate spaces. In fact, when Petrie is out with the rest of the flack sje tends to hang by herself, or with me. I'll try it but I don't know if it will work. Should I try pitting them together or not? Thanks!!

You can also put the cages next to each other too, so Petrie really is not alone :D
