I went up to the local pet shop (YES came home empty handed) but it was awesome that I wasn't just seeing budgies, I was seeing diluted clearwing yellowface - sooo tempting, an skyblue opaline, green/yellow rescessive pieds, a type 2 yellow face...I mean ladies I know what I was looking at in colors. I was floored..now if course when I share this wonderful knowledge with my husband well was like that is nice, I really don't care

yes it is, and even off topic birds such as the love birds and the cockatiel they had there I knew more about them. They were so tempting...ahh the possibilities .

Congrats to you! It is a nice fuzzy feeling when you can tell the different types apart. Next you will be looking at them and envisioning what color babies you might get if you brought another one home.....
