okay i paired 2 of my budgies in a breeding cage and i put 2 eggs in

there that where from a mom that got sick she sits on them and he

feeds her,my question is do i have to remove the eggs for him and

her to laid their own eggs cause i rather have babies from them then

the pair with the sick mom

this is the first time i have heard someone foster eggs to a hen that didnt already have eggs normally the new hen will throw them out to answer your question i would take out the eggs and let them lay there own if they are the ones you want

But, the chicks would be growing already!!! I wouldn't be able to get rid of those eggs now... :):) You never know what you will get - they could be exactly what you want.

i would be extremly suprised if the new hen was incubating them properly and the eggs were not dead already
