Just wondering if it's okay for budgies and finches to co-habit the same cage or not? I've been wondering for a while so thought I'd ask.

Definately not. The budgies are highly likely to attack the finches, budgies really are nasty birds.

Lin is correct (how'd you get so smart Lin?) budgies & finches a big no-no, even in a large aviary my budgie hens used to catch the finches and carry them around in their beaks.

I soon learned to remove the finches.
