I was researching for you, but I think you have tried just about everything on this. So I thought I would post it here in case anyone else ever has similar problems.

Yep, that sums it up nicely. Wish somebody could find the answer for that question and why one of lovebirds mutilates herself from time to time (she's in a collar once again and her lovebird buddy is scared of her). :fear

Phoebe, from what I have read plucking can result from a nutritional deficiency. Try adding a vitamin supplement and see what happens. It can also be a symptom of giardia, which needs to be poop tested for diagnosis.

She has been poop tested, blood tested, had a biopsy and everything, gets vitamins and she is a very poor eater, nobody can handle her but me and she is my favourite bird of any species of all time! Have done extensive research,an enigma :fear my Phoebe though!
