Posted February 11, 200619 yr Hi I was in a pet shop, just having a bo-peep around (and keeping an eye out for a friend for Pixie while I was at it ... but no nice looking cinnamons) ... and I noticed some budgies of a most peculiar patterning. They were blue birds with no black markings on them at all. Down their wings, where the black normally is, there was blue (the same blue as their body colour) and the tips of their wings were white. They were very pretty, and I was wondering what this is called, so that I can find some info on the net about them. Cheers for any help! Joanne
February 11, 200619 yr Hi Joanne, The birds you describe sound like opaline clearwings,They truly are beautiful birds. Ihave a few myself as they are an important variety to breed rainbows from. GILL
