Posted February 3, 200619 yr I went to the pet shop to buy some MORE stuff for his royal highness, The Blink. I got him a cholla perch ($16!!!!!!!) and a little rop perch as well as some plastic veggie clips and the most hilarious plastic budgie i've ever seen....it's SOOOOO tiny!!! It was only $1 so i mainly brought that for my own amusement. :(Laughing out loud): Anyway, just when i had started getting some more money....i'm broke again! I'm very pleased with the cholla perch despite it's cost because it appears to have a SAFE stainless steel rod through it (Polly's Pet Products) and the lady at the pet shop pointed out that it's great for stuffing treats in the little holes to keep your birdy occupied! February 3, 200619 yr Author Well i hope Blinks decides that the cholla perch is not out to get him. He won't sit on it...i've hung his mirror above it but all that's achieved is an upside down budgie. If he'll sit on it i can poke stuff in it for him to find when i'm at school.

February 3, 200619 yr Author I took some photos of Blinkie's cage all rearranged with the new stuff in it. He's sitting on the new rope perch...i really like this type of rope perch cause it doesn't seem to have a wire through it so it's so easy to twist into more interesting shapes and stuff, it also doesn't push at the cage bars so much which helps to keep them in the right shape. Side view. Blinks is still up in the corner head bopping his bell. And another angle.

February 3, 200619 yr ive got a cholla perch but it has clay in the holes and partly covering the surface. they are good :budgiedance: and yeah they cost a bit but they will last for AGES! glad blinks enjoyed emptying your wallet bea :budgiedance:

February 4, 200619 yr Awww, Blinkie looks very happy! I spoil my budgies way too much too - Piccolo is always chewing and destroying her toys so I keep having to buy more! Not to be a downer, but I just wanted to warn you about the rope perch. I got my birds one and Tweety got his foot stuck in it. Luckily my mom was around and heard him squawking and released him but he was limping for a while. Just wanted to let you know!
February 4, 200619 yr I have read if they are frayed their nails can get stuck. We have one and I keep an eye on it, if it gets washed alot it would probably get frayed.

February 4, 200619 yr Author I love that toy! I want one for myself!! Here's some photos of tiny budge. That ball it's besides is about 3cm tall. There's Blinkie in front of it to hopefully show you just how tiny it is.
