skip started bobbing his head and making little coughing noises and it scared me!

he had just preedend himslef do maybe just breathed in some dust or something?

 

I hope he is okay, he has stopped now and looks perky enough

He sounds fine. Just keep an eye on him. If he starts up and it seem regular, take him to a vet.

sounds like he got something stuck in his throat, usually a seed husk or dust of something. was it after eating?

by any chance do you or anyone in your home have a cough? (just a thought) I had a budgie once, Charlie was his name and he could pull off the most PERFECT cough but it was only a noise that he had picked up from us

He had just preened himslef a little, it may have been a bit of feather or dust or something.

 

I don't think he was imitating as he doesnt sem to imitate anything yet, it was like a sligtly gurgly clucking noise (Laughing out loud)!

 

he must be okay coz i was trying look look him over and got all distressed and he just kept squiming and trying to fly off ( whcih is funny coz he can't fly) I think he thought I was crazy :S

i think he was just looking for attention (Laughing out loud) just keep an eye on him incase
