HELP! This is urgent. My sister was testing the budgie eggs [ have 6 eggs] and one of them is NOT fertile. But... anyways, back to my story. My sister was trying to check if the budgie eggs were all fertile. and well she was checkin the last egg and she DROPPED it n it cracked. The crack is about 1 cm-ish long. it was a FERTILE egg!!! ahhh.. wut to do.? I was wonderin tho. My sister tried to clean the blood. and placed it back with the other eggs. it kept on bleedin n some blood went on the other eggs... well right now it sumwut stopped bleedin. i donno if the egg is goin to b alrite.

 

PLease HELP ME! my question:

 

Will the crack on the egg heal/repair by itself?

Will the baby inside the egg survive?

Should i leave it in the nest box?

What should i do if i shouldnt put it in the nest box?

 

Please answer these questions..im tryin NOT to panic..becuz i dunno wut to do. Please help me. Reply back if you have the answers to my questions. I greatly appreciate all your help. thanks!

With the fall and the sock inside the egg the baby would be killed. With the bleeding then it is dead. A cracked shell wont repair it's self as the egg is not alive. Because this egg will now rot it's best to take it and throw it in the trash to keep bacteria from growing inside of it and spreading to the other eggs and killing the other babies.
