Hi Riki, the two birds pictured are both very nice ( Obvoiusly the breeder wanted to breed yellow faced blues with clearwings Unusual )

1. The bird in front is it yellow faced sky blue with white tipped wings

2. If yes then you will have interesting offspring should you breed with any Hen ( female )

3. the choice is really what do you like ( I would try to strengthen the body and head colours by breeding with the best Quality Hen ( female bird you can purchase in your area )

Some times it takes years to breed the birds you desire ( keep them Healthy Happy and treat them like friends )

 

Old latin saying Rome was not built in a Day -- to upgrade recessives you need to breed back to Quality Normals. ( there are Yellow faced Violets -- very nice to achieve the real violets look at the pigmentation Mauve in your breeding )

well your male is a yellowface spangle (possible opaline)

so anything of the blue line would keep all th babies blue, unless you could find out the green is split for blue then you could get some greens and some blues.

 

If you could get your hands on a violet that would look nice, but also any of the pieds gene would work as well.

Do you have some photos of female that can I breed with my male to get a lot of kind of babies (color also)...If you can , you can put some photos and describe what can I expect whit the female...I hope that you understand and in your help!!!!
