Quite often they will lay a second clutch before the first lot have fully fledged. Don't let them have anymore than 2 clutches together like that. You might have to throw eggs away to stop them, but she needs a good 6 month break before breeding again. Only let them have a second clutch if she is still in excellent condition, sometimes the first clutch can take too much out of them

Remember to quarentine them from your other birds. 30 to 45 days.

If you buy them from the same breeder or from the same cage in a pet store. You can keep them together in quarentine. give them a weeks rest at you place to get aquanted with the new suroundings before you try breeding.

 

Oh and read up on breeding before you start. it really isn't that easy. things go wrong.
