hi my little kiwi is 12 to 13 weks and still has darker bar then ive ever seen they run all the way down and make her face look really dark

 

 

 

 

She won't lose them until her first molt and how long that takes can vary quite a bit. She looks a lot like my Pixel used to.

 

the pictures dont show how dark she is but its wierd couse all her brothers and sissters were like this

 

eeek i cant find the picture at the moment but they all had like pixel had already a bit fading but shes reallyreally dark like all the way is like the back ill get picture where you can see it you cant see it here

Unless she's had her first molt they wouldn't have faded by now. Part of why Pixel's look so light in the picture is the flash but it's basically the same principle. Until your budgie molts, her bars are going to stay dark and strong all the way down to her cere. Once she gets into a molt you'll notice them receding.
