Budgie Deterrant?

Hi there, Does anybody know of anything that I can use to stop my budgie from chewing (possibly eating!!) the paint and plaster from our wall??

Was maybe going to cover it with tape but i'm not sure if its safe or not if he eats it??

also going to buy him some new toys

I can't think of anything? You might just had to do the dull and boring work of training. Such as each time you catch them at it removed them from the spot and either a quick time out in the cage or back on to the cage.

 I agree with I would say simple training and a good eye on the budgie. If you are consistent for at least a week it should diminish quickly, they learn fast :D
