I have a nonbreeding cage that is big enough to hold a nest box inside but i need to know how to install the nest box on the cage wall. Which screws and other things do i need that will make it stay on the wall?

If you just got a couple of dowel rods and put them across the cage about 10cm apart it should make a sturdy place for the nest box to sit on, that's what i did when i was using a non-breeding cage.

Did the budgies eventually use the box. How long did it take?
