Argh! Make Them Stop!

Stupid Buzz and Gherk have started breeding again! :P I can block the nest box off but would the parents still feed the babies if they were in a little basket on the bottom of the cage? I would just separate them but my spare cage is in use and i wouldn't want to just put the chosen parent straight back in the aviary.

how old are the chicks again? i would leave them be fore now until the young ones are trying out the big brave world and remove any eggs.

The chicks are 4 weeks old. Gus and Pud are completely feathered and Blondie is close. :P

but putitng them out of the box before they have tryed it thems would be very shocking to them, once yu ahve seen them in and out a few times you can add a low box to them to hide under on the bottom of the cage and remove the box.

Block off the box rather....it's nailed onto the side (which seems very stupid to me).

yes me too :P I also forgot you take them out already anyway so maybe blocking off the box will work.

:ausb: You have my sympathy. :(:P: :D:blink:

(Laughing out loud)! At least i wanted them to breed.

I think Gherkin will still look after those babies, is he still being a good mummy?

Yeah, both are still being super parents! Although they don't feed the babies to bursting point anymore, (Laughing out loud)!

Gotta love that Gherks
