I was just wondering if it could harm Bluey ie maybe he could catch cold by carrying him to the car in the cold weather?

Over the Christmas period I have taken Bluey out with me a few times when we have been staying with family and friends rather than leave him alone. I cover his cage but its sometimes a bit breezy outside when Im taking him to the car.

Hes perfectly happy in his cage seatbelted in and the radio on.

Im also a bit worried because hes going to the vet next week which is an hours drive away.

Also can the heaters in the car affect him because I usually try to warm the car before I put him in. rather than have them blow on him?

Sorry for maybe asking silly questions but Im sure someone can hopefully put my mind at rest.

(Laughing out loud) i take my budgies with me to they love it !!!! i think a little bits okay i always cover my birdies carrying them from and to the car when its cold to stop the breeze and they are usauly okay then

 

i havent had any colds yet i think its fine as long as they dont have to wait around for hours

sounds like your doing all the right things
