Posted December 30, 200519 yr Hi I'm just wondering, what's the oldest age can a budgie breeds? Meaning, at what age should I not breed a budgie anymore? Just wondering. Thanks. Cheers Cheeta
December 30, 200519 yr in the FAQ's of the site Both males and females should be at least 1 year old before being bred. They are able to breed younger than this but are not emotionally ready for the stress of raising chicks. Hens should not be allowed to raise a clutch past the age of 3-4 years of age. by Bea http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/faqs/i...d=26&artlang=en Edited December 30, 200519 yr by lovey
