Breeding Old Budgie?

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm just wondering, what's the oldest age can a budgie breeds? Meaning, at what age should I not breed a budgie anymore? Just wondering. Thanks.

in the FAQ's of the site

Both males and females should be at least 1 year old before being bred. They are able to breed younger than this but are not emotionally ready for the stress of raising chicks. Hens should not be allowed to raise a clutch past the age of 3-4 years of age.

Guys. We love your questions about budgies. We love them so much that we did a FAQ (Frequently Asked Question ) section. :P

If we don't have a topic in the section, ask and we will put it up. :)

F.A.Q. Section

you need to add that in the FAQ's :P
