Well my friend (who also has a budgie) and I got quite busy this afternoon making, or attempting to make, a playpen for my future budgie!! There are many improvements that need to be made, and fun toys to be added... but here's our project so far!!

 

 

By the way, the reason that the ladder is so bad is that because it was 100% made by us (Laughing out loud) (as was everything else, we had alot of fun sawing the many wood pieces, and alot of close incounters with the saw, hammer, or nails, where we almost lost fingers... or legs )

Homemade is the best, in the wild the ladders are not perfect either. It is a human perception of perfect. I think it looks perfect, and he or she will love it!
