jj has turned 12weeks and isnt yet finger tame is he to old to learn any more??? :(

please...hes getting better but its slow and steady but its getting better as ive started using millet spray im training two birds well ones already tame but im teaching him some tricks :P

Sounds like your doing all the right things, patience, patience and more patience :) He'll be fine!!! Food is one of the best taming/ training tools....love and attention are two more!! :D Keep up the good work! :fear

12 weeks is still a baby, keep working with him and i'm sure you'll end up with a tame budgie. :fear

Yes alot of patience. Alot of times what I would do is instead of putting my hand in all the time is just simply talking to him, or keeping him around us all the time in his cage. That way he felt more comfortable and didn't think that every time we were there we would not stress him out with the hand :fear.

i think a budgie of any age can be tamed to some degree. it just gets harder as they get older, and needs much more persistance. :D

your budge is still a baby so you should be fine if you keep at it.

thank you i was worried hede become to old to train now and hede just stop learning my other budgie was tame at 8weeks but he was trained alone thak you and progress is better just to let you now he spends longer on your finger and lets you your face up to him!

That's great news. :)

Yeah, it makes quite a difference when you tame a single budgie as opposed to taming two at once. That can make things quite difficult so it sounds like you're doing wonderful.

Good on you...and him :D Give him a kiss from me!! .......when he'll let you :(Laughing out loud):
