Sky has been having Really Big And HEAVY poop lately. :P

is somthing wrong? :(

What has her diet consisted over the last couple days? How long has it lasted? Is the color look okay?

Have you changed the diet? More fresh foods? Different fresh foods?

Does it happen in the mornings or any other specific times? I've heard of some birds that actually don't poop all night and in the mornings they have one massive one. What is the consistency like?

I've only seen really big poops in breeding hens who are spending all their time in the nest box. Not sure what would cause it otherwise.

lovey:

normal (seed, millet, veggies & fruits ect.) two days, green to brown.

a little, no, yes

eterri:

no, big and heavy

That's really odd, sounds like she's holding it for some reason be it voluntary or involuntary. I don't know... I have to say that if it were me and you can't think of a clear reason behind it, I'd take her to the vet just to be on the safe side. I've only ever heard of this happening for two reasons. One was what Bea mentioned; when a hen is sitting on the nest and holds her poops she has massive ones when she finally goes. And then as I mentioned, I've heard of other parrots holding it during the night having a large poop in the morning when uncovered.

Um... well, another thing I've heard of is when potty training a parrot goes awry and it only poops when told by its owner to do so (which is why I usually advise against potty training as this would be veeery unhealthy if the owner went on holiday or elsewhere!). But it doesn't sound like that's the case so I would be worried about constipation or some other health issue. Is it still happening and how often? Are all her droppings large like this or is it random? And lastly, how often does she poop?

Yes/No, random, every 20 min.

Yeah, I think it's definitely time to make an appointment at the avian vet. :D
