Posted December 7, 200519 yr Anyone got any bright ideas on how i can keep my bedroom nice and cool so that Buzz and her future family don't over heat? She is sitting on 8 eggs and i hate to even think how hot it'll get when the babies start to feather up! :budgiedance: Would putting a frozen gel pack on the lid of the nest box as well as leaving my window open do the trick? For the last few days i've just had the window open constantly and that seems to be keeping my room quite comfortable but it's sure to get hotter soon.
December 7, 200519 yr Should do. With my rabbit I put a frozen cooldrink bottle in, so that she can lay near it or not. Just be careful it doesn't drip, from condensation, into the box.

December 13, 200519 yr Author I'm thinking about getting a small fan to set up in my room. The wet towel idea's good but keeping it wet could be interesting. I suppose putting the tops in a container of water on top of the cage would work.
