There are lots of plants that could harm them and bird diseases(caught from wild birds)but other than predators only the risk of them flying away....I have my Galah with me outside and sometimes in the car but I only trust one of my budgies(Max) he is the only one tamed enough not to fly away...he is so attatched to me it is not funny...my boyfriend says I couldn't get him to fly away if I tried!

There is also the risk of a bird being startled by something and flying off

Max sounds just like FiFi Bec...It's great when an animal shows so much affection..

 

That's a very good point Lin....I wouldn't take PePi out unless he has his wings clipped...

 

He's a funny bugger he loves to sit on the screen of the notebook and watch me type away..(Laughing out loud)

Please don't take the budgies outside at all without restraint. Even clipped budgies can fly huge distances if they get a fright and even further if a breeze comes up. There's just too much danger and in my opinion there's no need to take your feathered friends into such a dangerous situation. :dbb1:
