...or lonely. What can I do? I hang her cage under the front porch during the day. It's not just a few feathers that have moulted, there's too many loose feathers and too many places on her without feathers. What's going on?

Budgies rarely feather pluck for behavioral reasons. It's more likely a physical ailment and she should be seen by an avian vet.

 

Also, is the front porch enclosed or pretty much outside? It might be an issue with parasites. Either way, a vet visit would be the best course of action.
