Posted June 11, 200420 yr Hi again,. Whats best to feed budgies kept indoors when they aref eeding their young. (6 days old) I currently feed 1. seed (branded food not cheap unmarked stuff) 2. calcium block 3. cuttle fish 4. millet seed (occasional) 5. EMP (egg food) Should I remove any of this or feed fruit (apple, grapes etc)? thanks again Jonny Edited June 11, 200420 yr by jonny
June 11, 200420 yr Mine get fed people food every day. When they were raising babies, their intake of green food rose considerably. They seemed to crave it. You could try adding broccoli or baby spinach leaves if the parents are used to veggies, otherwise I would wait to introduce it until after the babies fledge. If they are already used to fruit I don't see where it would hurt to feed it. If they don't want it, they won't eat it. Edited June 11, 200420 yr by Rainbow
