Update:

Sorry guys a bit of a hold up. Concrete slab that was laid for the new shed was too small. Took the concreter three week to fix his mistake.

Shed finished and old shed emptied cleaned and sprayed for insects.

Windows cut in front and back.

The sharp edges are than lines with Aluminium channel to finish the holes off and stop budgie cutting themselves (and owner) on the sharpp edges.

And than the wire is put in.

Didn't have enough aluminium angle to finish the back window......

......to be continued........

....next epasode..

Finish back window and start in the internal frame for the flight. Put in wire.

Cut through into the existing flight to join into one.

Builded cupboards to put breeding cages on.

Move breeding cages in....

Thanks I need to find another supplier of the Aluminim...Bunnings is going to cost too much for the inside framing..

Problems...Problems... I was hoping to have this finished so that Chime and Snowy will be the first to use it.

Awww, Just remember if you find a better price Bunnings will beat it by 10% :P In case the better price is too far away (Laughing out loud)

I actually found a better price than Bunnings I wonder if they will match it..?

What do you mean so snowy and Chime can be the 1st to use it? Arent you making this into a bird shed with cages in it, and a desk?...or as a big indoor aviary for al birds AKA Snowy and Chime?

Kirby :hap:

Splended Daz!!!

So you will have the indoor flight, as well as the breeding cages....perfect setup! I love it! So, is the outdoor and indoor setup going to be connected by the smaller window then???....

Im sure Chime and Snowy will love it!.... :)

Yes there will be two windows between the indoor and the outdoor....

ummm snowy isn't going to like it. He somehow got out of the nursary box on Saturday morning and is now with Walt... I don't really know what happened but about 2:30am there was a racket. When I got to the door I saw something flight off. I first thought it was an Owl but realised it was Snowy. The cage door was open and he got out. :)

...If I had the aviary finished he would only got into the breeding room... :glare:

...Well I've been blaming myself.. if I had the aviary finished..

Well on Sunday I finished the internal frame work. I also decided on a different wire. It is a lot dearer but safer for the birds. It will go in this weekend. I should be able to finish it and have the birds in it by sunday...

I do need HELP I am trying to rig up a solar powered light. We have some that you can get for gardens. I want to put the solar panels on the roof to charge batteries that then power a low watage light through the night.... A Night Light... Can anyone help with circuit designs????

Update.....

I have finished the next phase. I have built the storage cuboard for under the breeding boxes and have it in the breeding part of the aviary.

I moved the breeding boxes in and you should have seen the responce.

The other came down to see the breeders. The breeders got excited... Hope this all means Eggs..

Looking inside.

The nest boxes have been place in one of the storage area.

I am going to built another 3 single breeding cages to match and put them where the nest boxes are in the picture.

If you look up at the top left breeding cage you'll see the nest box mounted outside on the front.

I'll take another shot when I get the pairs set up. :)

Stunning :) Are the breeders staying in the box together just with out the box or have you put them all back into the flight?

Chime looks like an angel there, but where is little snowy?
