i've pinned this but please remember not to name shops on here unless you have evidence ie a conviction unfortunately your opinion is not evidence (although your opinion could be spot on i am sure adam doesn't need some high flying lawyers coming after us and as each moderator could be sued in there country ie rainbow in the usa and nerwen in australia and myself in the uk)

It wouldn't be illegal to say " I went to ________ and the treatment of their birds was horrible..." I really don't think the mods or Adam have anything to worry about as far as that goes. People make complaints about shops/restaurants/etc. all the time.

unfortunatly it is slander if there is no evidence and before you have a go i only know because a music site was closed down here after comments were made on it about a groups followers the site owners were in ireland and the moderator was in england and it was the english guy that was done.making complaints is one thing slagging of on a forum is another this has already been agreed with the mods so untill adam changes it it will have to stand as i am not willing to take on any big brow lawyers and some of these companys are very big

Unfortunately the lawyers in Australia are becoming like those we see on American TV. They will try to sue anyone for anything.

 

There was a case here where a drunk left a Hotel and drove to a petrol station. Filled his car and then drove out and ran some poor person over. The lawyers successfully sued the petrol attendant for providing the means by which the drunk could run someone over.

 

Crazy . I agree with Hath. You have got to be careful in what goes into print.
